Board Of Directors

  • Megan Krupp - Board Chair

    Megan has great pride and long ties to Park County, and the surrounding basin. She was raised on Heawrt Mountain, and graduated from Powell High School. Megan attended Northwest College with and interest in criminal justice and business management and Flathead Valley Community College in nursing. She has a strong desire to support and grow this beautiful community. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her three children and their family pets. They love to go rock hunting, paddle boarding, and camping.

  • Troy Brown - Treasurer

    Troy was born and raised in Cody.  After attending Northwest College and graduating from the University of Wyoming he worked in the oil industry on the east coast and in Houston.  He had the opportunity to return to Cody and has worked for First Bank of Wyoming for over 10 years.  Troy enjoys spending time with his daughter, parents, and siblings.  He also enjoys bicycling, music, camping, collecting antiques, and keeps busy working around the house and yard.

  • Mackenzie Scott

    Mackenzie was born and raised in Cody, Wyoming. She has a deep love for the outdoors and the people that make up our community. She currently works at Children’s Resource Center as a Family Service Coordinator and has been involved with other endeavors of community outreach and service within the last few years. In her free time, she can be found exploring new areas, hiking, camping, riding horses, and enjoying a good book. Mackenzie has a deep passion for serving others and finding effective ways to support those in her community. She is excited to serve on the HMFC board.

  • Pastor Jayson Nicholson

    Jayson Nicholson, Board Member, is active throughout the BigHorn Basin working as the Pastor at Hope Lutheran Church as well as volunteering his time with the Powell Fire Department, Healthy Park County, American Legion Post 26, and Powell Rotary Club.  Recently Jayson has become certified to teach safeTALK, ASIST, and Soul Shop as way to strengthen our communities and make them safer from suicide.  He envisions a community and world where everyone would experience life and love abundantly, our communities would be safe and healthy, and everyone would be cared for and supported in their time of need. 

  • Carla Iseman

    Dr. Carla is a Pennsylvania native that has embraced the Wild West of Wyoming since moving here with her husband Dr. Tyler McDowell in October 2017. After highschool Dr. Carla earned her undergraduate degree from Fordham University in New York City. From there she moved to Puerto Rico to pursue her degree in Optometry at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico. She graduated in 2013 with her OD and has been practicing primary eyecare with a particular passion for pediatrics, vision therapy, and all things optical ever since. Dr. Carla and Dr. Tyler have welcomed two boys into their family in October of 2020 and December of 2022. Dr. Carla is the owner of Powell Vision Clinic and continues to serve Park County by considering children and new mothers.

  • Nick Ryan

    Nick is grateful to support the foundation's mission of providing compassionate care to individuals and families in financial need throughout the Big Horn Basin.

    Nick brings a background in marketing, storytelling, video production, and organizational communication. His professional experience has included managing video production for Pensacola Christian College in northwest Florida, as well as leading content strategy, digital marketing, brand messaging, and public-facing media for SWi Fence, a growing Wyoming-based company. Through that work, he has developed a deep appreciation for clear communication, practical problem-solving, and helping organizations connect with the people they serve.

    In addition to his work with Heart Mountain Free Clinic, Nick also serves as a board member for Cedar Grove Homeschool Co-Op. He and his family are part of the local homeschool and church community, and he values opportunities to serve organizations that strengthen families, meet real needs, and care for neighbors in practical ways.
